Commissioner King's United States Senate Testimony on the ESEA Waiver

Growth Reporting Rosters
The 2011-12 student-level data used to calculate educator growth scores will only be available within the Growth Reporting System for downloading until March 22, 2013. In order to have access to your data after this time, you must download the file before then. Log-in to access files at: https://ny.growth.airast.org/. Count of Immigrant Children and Youth for 2013
NYSED annually collects the number of "immigrant children and youth," as defined by Section 3301(6) of NCLB. This data is used to determine district eligibility and allocations for the Title III, Part A Immigrant Education 2013-14 grant program. Districts must report this information to NYSED no later than March 29, 2013. The survey can be found at: http://www.forms2.nysed.gov/emsc/biling/ImmigrantChildrenPage1.cfm.

1003(g) School Improvement Grant
The 1003(g) School Improvement Grant (SIG) was posted to the Race to the Top web-site on November 27, 2012. An information webinar was provided to the public on December 18, 2012 and can be found at: http://usny.nysed.gov/rttt/rfp/ta-11/home.html.
