The New York State Education Department is pleased to announce online registration for the Diagnostic Tool for School and District Effectiveness (DTSDE) Institute and the Professional Learning Community Training Program. These sessions will be held on May 8-9, 2014 and will run concurrently from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily. The deadline for registration and payment is Friday, April 25, 2014.  All Focus District Superintendents will receive separate notification of this training.

IMPORTANT: Attendees must complete BOTH the Online Survey Form External Link and also submit the Registration Payment Form PDF (279 KB).

Who Should Attend?

  • Principals of priority or focus schools;
  • District Representatives who may be participating in IIT visits or leading district-led reviews;
  • District-selected Outside Educational Experts (OEE);
  • Designated staff of the Regional Bilingual Education Resource Network (RBE-RN);and designated Special Education School Improvement Specialists (SESIS).   

Complete and mail the Registration Payment Form with payment. Payment Deadline is Friday, April 25, 2014. 

IMPORTANT: In addition to the Registration Payment Form all participants must also complete the 5-minute survey. BOTH THE SURVEY AND THE REGISTRATION PAYMENT FORM MUST BE COMPLETED BY EACH PARTICIPANT.

Registration Fee and Meals
The $50.00 registration fee includes breakfast and lunch. Dinner will not be provided.   School, district and personal checks are valid forms of payment. Purchase orders will not be accepted. Participants paying by personal checks are responsible for seeking reimbursement from their district. Payment is non-refundable, even if the participant is unable to attend the session.

Breakfast will be served daily from 7:45 a.m. to 8:45 a.m.
